Sandra is interested in capturing the intricacies of design and mood through composition and color to create portraits of people, animals, and nature.
The luminosity seen in her work is achieved through art of painting on porcelain. For many centuries, the combination of oil, mineral paints and high heat to vitrify the colors on the porcelain, has been practiced in Asia and Europe.
Sandra’s work is in the collections of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, the UW Hospital, Madison, and many corporations and private homes through out the Midwest.
