I enjoy making functional pottery for daily use and display. To capture the motion of the wet clay, I mark and alter my work while still on the wheel. I generally wood-fire, allowing the spontaneity of the flame and natural ash to add color and interest to my textured forms. I hope that you have as much pleasure holding and using my pottery as I have making it.
