If you love nature, look to Barb Lazaris’ photo cards. See a male cardinal feeding a fledgling, or a heron gathering nesting materials. Choose from wildflower hepatica or violet, or a close-up of common flowers newly seen. In the day of e-mail and text messages, a handwritten note is something special. Give one of these any occasion cards for a birthday, anniversary, thank you, graduation, or just because.

Barb had the opportunity in March of ’08 to take photos in Columbus, Wisconsin of early set preparations for the movie "Public Enemies". While her husband worked as a carpenter on the set, she had the opportunity to get close to window displays. Her shots of skeleton keys in a hardware store, a lunch menu (all-time favorite ham and cheese sandwich sold for 17cents), and 1930’s pharmaceuticals will take you back in time. How the cobblestone road was made may surprise you!
When weather does not permit Barb turns her eye to still life, finding meaning and beauty in what we see every day. This year she also was privileged to take photos of Monroe Street businesses and personnel, as part of a Portraitof Monroe Street project.
